Today was a beautiful, sunny day! I spent a lot of time relaxing and studying with my study buddy, Pip!
Rather than go outside today, I decided to do a fun indoors activity that feels great to do on a bright day: baking!
I have been really craving chocolate chip cookies, so I decided to look up a new chocolate chip recipe to try! I'm not the best baker, but I just love to bake on a nice day because it always helps me destress and lift my mood!
There's such a wonderful feeling that I get as I mix things together in the mixing bowl while the bright sunshine rays come in through the window! Especially, since now Daylight Savings Time is in effect, things seem so bright and almost summery even later in the afternoon.
Here are some photos of my process. Again, I'm just an amateur who's having fun today, so I know that there's some clear improvements I can make!
They are so yummy, and I had so much fun making them! They're very sweet, so these will last for a very long time.
