Today, the sun came out in the afternoon, so after many days spent indoors, cooped up inside, I went for an adventure with Pip on my bicycle!
We rode around the whole neighbourhood and had a wonderful time! I just couldn't help but stop and look up at the beautiful skies.
Sometimes, it's so quiet and peaceful, and I enjoy exploring the world as it's calm and still. Even riding past them on my bicycle, I could hear many birds chirping and singing to each other from the trees as I went by. I hope they're all happy, now that spring is almost here!
Part of what I love about being able to ride a bicycle is that you can travel longer distances than when you're just walking. There's a special sensation that comes with the feeling that you're just exploring and getting lost, yet knowing where you're headed all the same. That's part of the thrill of adventure that cheers me up: discovering something new and yet unknown to me.
That's what happened to me today: I stumbled upon a lookout point I had never seen before. It had a view of the bridge I had never seen, and it left me in awe.
The sounds of cars, trains, and boats far, far in the distance, the view from a grand hill top, the sunlight washing over the entire plain and river, it left me amazed. I had no idea this spot was here! I followed the path even further, to a spot in the woods surrounded by trees. Even though the trees were everywhere, I still felt as though I was very close to where the river was.
It was wondrous to experience seeing this for the very first time. I've seen the bridge hundreds, maybe even thousands of times, but never like this, surrounded by the beauty of nature itself.
Here's a little video of that spot:
So, I'd say that today's journey was as amazing and magical as it could possibly be! Here is the collection of all my photos from today:
Nature's beauty is precious, and every moment of it is special. Just like how every snowflake is said to be unique, every scenery painted by the clouds is the never the same from moment to moment. The art within the sky is dynamic, ever changing, and every picture I take is a special moment, never to be seen again. But to walk outside and see the vastness of the world above for yourself is all one needs to appreciate the art in that very moment.
Just take a quick look. Or go for a long walk, or simply observe. Either way, what you're seeing is something special.
Remember that you're special too. Nature has made everything unique, after all. Be yourself, and recognize that you're always changing, just like the clouds in the sky. Change is okay! It's natural, just like the clouds that always paint different pictures. Embrace who you are in this very moment!
Anyways, that's enough of me talking for now. If you're interested in more of that, I created a video about me making a crystal with a crystal-making science kit! The commentary might not be the best, but I hope the video editing was okay enough, haha!
Thanks for reading! Take care of yourselves, everyone!
